The Visual Basic 6 Runtime files must be installed on your Computer in order for the Speed Test to function. These files are already installed on most computers, however if you have a freshly installed copy of Windows then there is a change that these files may not be installed.

The files involved are necessary for any Visual Basic program to function. You will find that if you download a lot of software from the Internet then you will need to download these files at some point. The package will not cause harm to your system.

These files are easy to install - simply download the file shown below and run it. The Setup program will install all necessary files. If you have been referred to this page by the Speed Test Setup program, once the files have completed installing you can re-start Speed Test Setup.
